2.1
MY STILLNESS IS FILED AS NORMAL
Say Less.
I reduce my speech while the room, clock, and record continue without answering me. The file remains open, but the review finds nothing that requires action.
I learn that being documented does not mean being addressed. The page can look calm while I am still living inside what it leaves unresolved.
2.2
I AM LEFT TO ANSWER THE ABSENCE
Don’t Say Nothing.
I reread the silence, search it for meaning, and begin answering questions nobody asked aloud.
The unanswered space is not empty for me. It transfers the work of explanation onto me and makes me carry every possible version of what the silence might mean.
2.3
MY PRESENCE IS REDUCED TO A STATUS
“Subject Still Present”
I am still breathing, still waiting, and still here. My duration is treated as if staying proves consent.
The phrase confirms my location without recognizing my experience. I become a status that can be updated while the reason I remain is deferred again.
2.5
THE CLOCK COUNTS ME WITHOUT CARING FOR ME
“Subject Still Present” (Timestamped)
Minute by minute, the interval records my breathing, silence, fatigue, exclusion, and possible harm. The recording ends; I do not.
A precise timestamp can prove how long I was there. It cannot turn observation into care or make the recorded interval the whole truth of what I endured.
2.7
I KEEP WHAT THE FILE DID NOT FINISH
Leave Proof.
I keep the dates, names, instructions, and repeated requests. The file remains incomplete while the consequences continue beyond its last entry.
My proof does not pretend the record became whole. It preserves the gap between what was done, what was entered, and what I was left to live with.
2.8
I END THE STATEMENT IN MY OWN VOICE
This is the Last Sentence.
I kept the dates and words in their original state. I do not finish by supplying forgiveness, healing, peace, or resolution that did not occur.
I stop the statement without allowing the stop to be mistaken for repair. The final sentence is mine because I am the one who lived past the record.
